Spectrum Healthcare: 2014 – an exciting year in prospect!

After a record year for Spectrum Healthcare (UK) Ltd in 2012, our success in 2013 was a reflection of many factors such as the expansion of our overseas customer base and the continued participation at a number of conferences, exhibitions and UKTI funded events.

In particular, RehaCare 2013 (September) and Moving and Handling People 2013 (January) were particularly successful for us and reinforce the fact that we need to attend such events to maintain our ongoing relationships with industry professionals and to meet new contacts.

Following a few years absence we are returning to Arab Health (Dubai) in January 2014 and looking to build on the growth that we have seen in our US business over the last two years or so. With several new products to be launched in 2014 and the increasing interest in our bariatric range of products we are quietly confident that we will be able to replicate our successes in the previous two years.

Our ongoing engagement with organisations such as Medilink, National Association Of Healthcare Fire Officers, National Back Exchange, Disabled Living Foundation and National Associationfor Safety and Health in Care Homes has undoubtedly proven to be a fantastic resource and helped with the sustained growth of our business.

We continue to look for ideas for new products from these professional contacts and our success in 2012 and 2013 is a partial reflection of these engagements. We are always happy to discuss such ideas under a confidentiality agreement, if required.
