It highlights the unique fire safety risks associated with such premises and offers expert guidance for those with responsibility for maintaining fire safety within them.

Divided into two chapters, Chapter one is ideal for induction training for general staff, providing them with an understanding in the fundamentals of care home fire safety. Chapter 2 is aimed at managers and senior staff who need to know about fire risk assessment and legal obligations in more detail.

In addition, there are two extra film clips giving in-depth information on carrying out and recording regular checks; and on evacuation strategies.
